The Chairman of Zinox Group, Mr Leo Stan Ekeh has beckoned on the Federal Government of Nigeria to partner with businessmen and creative enterpreneurs to save the country from looming mass unemployment.
Meeting With Owerri People Assembly
Mr Leo Stan Ekeh made the call yesterday, Tuesday, at a Convention held in Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria which was organized by the Owerri People Assembly which is the apex Socio Cultural organization there.
He said that the problem of massive unemployment facing the region requires merged efforts from the Federal Government and Multi Corporations.
“A situation where there are thousands of graduates who are qualified in grades but are still looking for their first jobs is worrisome, he said”
The situation can grow into a disastrous one of not immediately addressed. Furthermore, relying on statistics will make it known that over one million graduates are scattered just in the South East Region of Nigeria alone which is a serious case of concern as the Federal Government have to pin down this situation.
It is very necessary the Federal Government joins with well meaning enterpreneur Nigerians and Stakeholders to save our youths as just the State Government cannot do this alone, Mr Ekeh said.
Federal Government must step up in order to create employments and enable citizens be able to find their confidence to excel and explore and research like in other developed countries.
Nigeria has been known to be struggling with a whole number of several factors such as economy, employment, insurgency, corruption, etc.
